Center for Technology and Circular Economy

The mission of the Center for Technology and Circular Economy is to develop environmentally friendly technologies and products while supporting entrepreneurs by creating innovative market solutions in green chemistry. With our experienced team of scientists and modern laboratory and large-scale laboratory equipment, we provide comprehensive research, analytical, and design services, as well as technical consultancy and expert preparation. We offer both the development of new products and assistance in improving existing technologies and optimizing technological processes.

Main research areas of the Center for Technology and Circular Economy:

  • Biobased Economy - technologies for processing renewable raw materials into modern products and raw materials for the chemical industry and fuel sector;
  • Advanced Materials - manufacturing, processing, and modification technologies for polymers, biopolymers, and synthetic resins; development of modern composite materials based on thermoplastics, thermosetting plastics, and vitrimer materials; study of mechanical, processing, and application properties of polymers; biomodifiers; biopolymers for coating applications;
  • Circular Economy - ecodesign (SSbD), broadly understood chemical and material recycling of polymer waste, management and disposal of by-products and industrial wastewater;
  • Chemical Recycling - development and optimization of chemical processes that enable the transformation of plastic waste into secondary raw materials, contributing to the effective closure of material loops in the economy;
  • Catalytic Processes - production and application of new generations of heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysts (ionic liquids, organic-inorganic catalysts, ionites); selection and testing of catalyst activity and durability in both laboratory and technical scales;
  • Pressurized Processes - hydrogen technologies, next-generation biofuels, oxyalkylation, hydrorefining, and synthesis using process gases;
  • Specialty and auxiliary products for various industries; technologies for producing emulsions, corrosion inhibitors, and evaluation of technological fluid properties;
  • Engineering and technical services - development of project documentation and scaling processes from laboratory to technical and production levels.

We offer collaboration in the form of direct contracts for conducting research work, as well as within projects, both national and international. With extensive experience in obtaining and implementing research projects, we provide broad assistance in selecting appropriate competitions, acquiring partners, and preparing project proposals.
