Description of the project:

The purpose of the research project was the elaboration of the efficient quinoline antioxidant for polymer stabilization, especially for rubber mixes used for car tires production. The works were carried out within planed R&D works and after their successful termination implemented as innovative production technology. The elaboration of innovative technology is cohesive with current market trends and allows to fill the existing technology gap.

The elaboration of novel technology to produce TMQ antioxidant enables to increase the capacity of synthesis reaction through the selection of new and more efficient catalytic systems and elimination or limitation from the reaction mixture content the harmful aniline, which are replaced by working better as the polymer stabilizers less harmful compounds.

The innovativeness of the proposed solution is determined by the usage of alternative aromatic amines - substituted aniline derivatives, with higher electrophilicity of aromatic rings, enabling manufacturing of  product with better stabilizing properties.
