About the Project:

The main objective of this project was to create a modern research infrastructure enabling the realization of research-implementation works for the chemical industry of the region and increase of the transfer of technological innovations. The project increased research opportunities, and thus provides services to innovative sectors of the economy. The goal was achieved through the conversion of the existing technological laboratory  into a laboratory conducting analytic research and analysis in the scope of industrial chemistry and implementing it with modern research equipment. Supplementing the research apparatus with a CNSCI and TOC analyzer  significantly increased the research possibilities, and thus met the expectations and needs of businesses operating in the chemical industry giving them the opportunity to meet the ever-growing needs in adapting production to the provisions relating to environmental protection which decide on the admission of new chemicals and are

a tool for selecting and withdrawing of  already used compounds, giving impetus to seek new and more "environmentally friendly" ones. The project was fully compatible with the needs of the market in this field and allowed for complex problem solving and meeting the expectations of the of the sector of industrial chemistry in our region. This project contributed significantly to the growth of innovative companies in the region benefiting from the opportunities offered by the R&D sector.
Implementation of the project was also part of the reforms to be carried out in Polish science in terms of: strengthening of cooperation between science and economy, boosting the competitiveness of the region's science, improving the research infrastructure aimed to conduct specific research programs.
