Another in our series of monthly internal seminars took place on October 29 of this year. On this occasion, we had the honor of hosting Prof. Maciej Jaroszewski, PhD Eng., and Paweł Skotnicki, MSc Eng., from the Department of Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering and Electrotechnology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Wrocław University of Technology. Professor Jaroszewski gave a presentation titled “Dielectric Materials from an Electrician’s Perspective,” introducing the institute’s staff to this intriguing field of knowledge.
The topic of the second lecture was related to this presentation: “Preliminary studies on the effect of selected nano-additives on the thermal and dielectric properties of coolants intended for the direct cooling of electronic systems, data centers, and electric vehicles,” presented by Paulina Bryś, MSc Eng., as part of her industry-based doctoral program, supervised by Prof. Maciej Jaroszewski, PhD Eng.
Both presentations drew considerable interest from the seminar participants and prompted numerous questions seeking further clarification on the topics.
