The Institute’s Director, Dr. Daria Frączak, is participating in an interregional meeting and thematic workshops organized on September 2–3 in Oulu, Finland, as part of the project “Rethinking Sustainable and Integrated Development in Non-Urban Areas: Cooperative Foresight and Anticipation,” co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg Europe Program. The study visit includes, among other things, learning about the specific characteristics of the regions visited, presentations on local best practices, and presentations on regional policy instruments with a particular focus on the circular economy. Participants in the meeting take part in moderated workshops on regional development needs.
During these meetings, the Director shares her expertise on implementing circular economy initiatives and the opportunities and challenges associated with them.
