The XVIII European Economic Congress – an extremely important and opinion-forming meeting of representatives of the world of business, politics, science and local governments of Central Europe – starts today in Katowice.The event will last until April 24.
This year’s edition, the organizers write, will continue the dialogue between entrepreneurs, leaders in the public and scientific sectors, and a younger generation of leaders for whom the future of the economy also means social responsibility, energy and digital transformation, and a new approach to sustainability.
The congress will feature a number of distinguished speakers. Among them is also the Director of the Institute, PhD. Eng. Daria Frączak, who will take part in the session “Circular economy” (April 22, 2026 , 2:30-16:00 pm).
