Project Objective:

The strategic goal of the investment is to ensure information and communications technology (ICT) security. The current increase in threats to IT systems—from which complete separation is impossible—as well as the fact that responsibility for ICT security is dispersed, necessitates that the Łukasiewicz Institute protect the data from its scientific research. The investment will be divided into phases. The first phase will involve the purchase and implementation of mass storage, which will enable secure storage and archiving and streamline the conduct of scientific research. Due to its strategic importance, the IT system must be resilient to individual failures; therefore, it will be implemented in a dedicated and consolidated SAN network. In the second phase, a data loss prevention (DLP) system will be implemented.
