At the internal seminar in August, we had the pleasure of hosting representatives from Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe SA: Dr. Łukasz Czieszowic, PhD Eng., head of the Research and Development Center at Grupa Azoty ZAK S.A, and Patryk Dziendzioł, PhD Eng. a research specialist at the Research and Development Center of GA ZAK SA. The second guest presented a talk titled “The Use of Dimerized Fatty Acids as Plasticizers for Poly(vinyl Chloride),” presenting not only the results of the Research and Development Center’s work on this topic but also his experiences as a research fellow.
The second speaker at this seminar was Janusz Nowicki, PhD Eng., who gave a presentation titled “NCN Research Projects in Light of Personal Experience: The Case of the Sonata 21 Research Project,” which provided the audience with an overview of the specific characteristics of this group of projects, as seen through the lens of many years of experience with this research funding agency.
Both presentations sparked keen interest among the audience and prompted numerous questions, which helped deepen their understanding of the topics covered.
