In the realm of organic chemistry, our focus lies in the development and commercialization of chemical
processes. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and staffed by experienced professionals, our research group
offers comprehensive research and advisory services. We actively collaborate with industry partners, engage in
R&D consortia, and provide expertise in various domains.
Our extensive experience encompasses the analysis and chemical modification of renewable raw materials,
resulting in the creation of valuable products such as plasticizers, lubricants, biofuels, and bio-based chemicals.

OUR IDEA

Within the thematic scope of the Call, Łukasiewicz-ICSO ”Blachownia” offers expertise and know-how in the
development of methods for processing renewable raw materials into bio-based multifunctional additives,
specifically designed for bio-polymers and their blends. Additionally, we focus on the development of purification
methods for the resultant products.
The production process of these designed compounds can be executed within a simple reaction system, utilizing a
batch reactor. Even a single reactor could suffice on a pilot scale, enabling both synthesis and purification steps.
Moreover, there is potential to design an entire reaction system capable of synthesizing a broad spectrum of
additives.
