Amine resin hardeners for the wood-based panel industry

Amine resin hardeners for the wood-based panel industry

Technology characteristics

The use of amine resin hardeners makes it possible to produce good quality and time-stable coatings for artificial furniture veneers (finish foils). Their consumption in relation to resins is low – 0.3%-0.7%, depending on the type of hardener. In addition, release agents, wetting agents and dust suppressants can be developed in a package for the wood-based panel industry.

Product application

Amine resin hardeners can be used in the wood-based panel industry as catalysts for thermosetting urea or melamine resins used to saturate paper in the production of film, for laminating particleboard, or for impregnating compounds for furniture and flooring decorative papers produced with amine resin.
