Advanced Digital Technologies Research Group

Advanced Digital Technologies Research Group

The Advanced Digital Technologies Research Group (BC) focuses on implementing modern digital technologies that support research, development, and implementation processes in the fields of chemistry and process engineering. The Group’s activities include implementing digital solutions that enable the effective use of data, computational tools, and digital methods supporting R&D activities.

As part of its activities, the Group supports other Research Groups and specialists in chemical technology and engineering in applying advanced digital technologies, particularly solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), used for data analysis, modeling, simulation, and optimization of chemical processes. An important area of activity also includes supporting the automation of analyses, developing decision support tools, and integrating digital solutions with laboratory and technological systems.

Key Areas of Expertise Include:

  • applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning in chemistry and process engineering,
  • analysis and processing of large research datasets,
  • modelling and simulation of chemical processes,
  • digital support for R&D activities, including maintenance of decision‑support tools,
  • application of tools for integrating modern digital technologies with laboratory and industrial infrastructure,
  • close collaboration between the Institute’s experts in chemical technology and engineering and specialists in AI and ML.
