“Use of glycerol fraction from biodiesel plants”

Started in 2005 in cooperation with Lithuanian Energy Institute (Lithuania), Air Force Institute of Technology (Poland), University of Wrocław (Poland), University of Opole (Poland), Fundacion Tekniker (Spain), Environmental Energy (Cyprus), JSC Taurages silumos tinklai (Lithuania). It ended in 2008.

Project aim:

The purpose of the project was to elaborate and implement to the industry new technologies for utilization of glycerol fraction created as a by-product during the production of methyl/ethyl esters of rape acids excluding purification and separation of glycerol.
