Innovative greases for use in offshore wind power plants – targeted project

PROJECT CO-FINANCED FROM THE STATE BUDGET

Beneficiary Name: Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Heavy Organic Synthesis “Blachownia”

Grant Agreement No.: 1/Ł-ITEE/CŁ/2022

Project value: 987 562,50 zł

Grant amount: 888 806,25 zł

Project period: 01.10.2022 – 31.12.2024

The project is being carried out as part of a consortium:

Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute for Sustainable Technologies

Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Heavy Organic Synthesis “Blachownia”

Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology

The project focuses on the design and manufacturing process of lubricants based on biodegradable raw materials that are safe for the environment. The lubricants developed, which possess beneficial properties—including the ability to withstand high loads, the required service life, and resistance to changing weather conditions—will be intended for use in industrial equipment that operates in direct contact with the natural environment, such as offshore wind farms and wherever the use of lubricants resistant to mechanical and thermal stresses is required.
