Project Objective:

The goal of the project is to develop solutions in the form of functional additives, composite materials, and/or multi-component mixtures incorporating waste raw materials, as well as the technologies for their production, and to prepare demonstrators in the form of panels intended for modular construction. Preliminary work will focus on developing the technical specifications for a recycling process for waste from wind power plants, including its collection, shredding, grinding, and fractionation, as well as characterizing the ground materials. The output of this stage will be a waste-derived raw material for use in subsequent tasks. Further work will focus on developing formulations for composites containing optimal amounts of the ground material, along with the technology for their production. The properties of the composites will be tailored for the production of panels in subsequent stages, which will involve development work on manufacturing panels from the developed composites using pressing and extrusion methods, from the laboratory to the technical scale. The outcome of this work will be the establishment of production specifications for composite panels, which will be utilized during implementation at the target company upon project completion. The final stage of the work involves protecting the obtained results and identifying potential customers.
