The current increase in threats to IT systems\u2014from which complete separation is impossible\u2014as well as the fact that responsibility for ICT security is dispersed, necessitates that the \u0141ukasiewicz Institute protect the data from its scientific research. The investment will be divided into phases. The first phase will involve the purchase and implementation of mass storage, which will enable secure storage and archiving and streamline the conduct of scientific research. Due to its strategic importance, the IT system must be resilient to individual failures; therefore, it will be implemented in a dedicated and consolidated SAN network.
