    Project aim:<\/h3>

    The aim of the project was to elaborate new generation of detergents dedicated to washing fruits and vegetables, characterized by high capacity to remove pesticide residues.<\/p>

    The research concept was developed and implemented by Prof. Tomasz Wasilewski and Zofia Hordyjewicz-Baran, PhD. When designing the composition of detergents, the unique behaviour of non-ionic surfactants in aqueous systems was utilised, consisting in the extraordinary intensification of their surface and solubilisation activity in the immediate vicinity of the cloud point of the washing bath. <\/p>

    The essence of the offered solutions was the combination of outstandingly high working efficiency of elaborated detergents and minimization of their harmful influence on human health (the reduction of irritating and drying effect on the hands skin) and on the natural environment (high biodegradability).<\/p>

    The cooperation with each of project partners allowed to obtain detergents with oriented application. Preparations for individual client, for the household use was prepared together with InventionBio sp. z o.o., and the preparations for industrial use, mainly for vegetables and fruits producers was prepared together with Wies\u0142aw Hreczuch MEXEO. <\/p>
