To maintain production that meets societal needs, it is essential to protect crops from biotic threats such as animal pests, plant pathogens, fungi, and plant diseases. Effective protection against these threats comes from plant protection products, which eliminate undesirable organisms both on the surface and within the tissues of cultivated plants.  <\/p><p>Despite the high effectiveness of chemical plant protection products, there is a significant risk of residues of active substances remaining in crops. As a consequence, pesticides may be present in processed food intended for human consumption and in feed for livestock, leading to their infiltration into animal products such as meat. Additionally, pesticides can also end up in honey when bees come into contact with contaminated plants. There is also a risk of pesticides entering groundwater and surface waters, posing a threat to aquatic ecosystems and drinking water safety.   <\/p><p>The European Parliament and Council, in Regulation No. 396\/2005 regarding maximum residue levels (MRLs) of pesticides in food and feed of plant and animal origin and on their surfaces, established maximum limits for these substances. This regulation states that products containing pesticide residues exceeding the established MRLs cannot be placed on the market within the European Union. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f1a44e6 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"f1a44e6\"
